We are currently seeking a Homecare Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our Client Care and Scheduling departments.

Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
Maintain organized filing systems (both paper and electronic)
Assist the scheduling team with shift updates, cancellations, and service changes
Communicate shift confirmations, changes, or cancellations to staff and clients as required
Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with PHIPA
Address general inquiries related to services, schedules, or documentation
Support new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork and orientation materials
Assist with scheduling and conducting interviews for new staff
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education in Office Administration - Health Services (1-year or 2-year programs), Medical Office Administration or Business Administration - Office Management
Previous administrative experience in homecare is strongly recommended
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent customer service abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
Experience with scheduling or care coordination is preferred
Knowledge and experience with AlayaCare and CRM systems is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications
