Primary Function
Responsible for professionally preparing and serving refreshments while providing excellent customer service.
Responsible for the preparation and serving of food and drinks
Follow operating and food preparation standards
Responsible for opening and closing procedures as scheduled
Provide a high level of front line customer service including greeting and engaging customers in product selection
Clean equipment and keep concessions area safe and tidy
Complete administrative duties in a timely manner (eg. verify float, record spoilage, revenue documentation, opening and closing procedures)
Anticipate volume and prepare food/stock to meet demand
Check and replace stock and complete inventory counts
Report all concerns, accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor for follow up and take appropriate action
Maintain complete vigilance while on duty and be ready to respond to any emergency situation
Utilize POS system to complete sales transactions and end of shift report
Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
Attend meetings/training as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
Minimum 15 years of age
Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire
Food Handler's Certification, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire Courteous and personable
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Additional Information
Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton.Various tests and/or exams may be administered as part of the selection criteria.
