Hours Of Work
12-hour rotating continental shifts. From time to time, overtime will be required. This shift is not fixed and may be subject to change. If a shift change is required, you will be notified in advance.
Summary Description
The IMS Operator is responsible for operating the IMS slitting machine to cut rolls to customer specifications while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to operate equipment at full capacity while ensuring proper roll formation.
What You'll Be Doing
Cut rolls to customer-required measurements
Operate the IMS slitting machine during cutting operations
Run equipment at full capacity while maintaining proper roll formation
Perform machine setup within limited timeframes
Closely monitor roll quality throughout production
Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of the machine
Maintain production and quality processes and procedures
Operate machinery in accordance with GPS standards
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including support in other areas when work volume is low

You are 18 years of age or older
You have completed high school
You are reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
You can perform clean and neat work
You have good organizational skills
You communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
You can read and understand metric and English measurements
You can differentiate colors
You are comfortable using computer systems
Experience operating Deacro and/or Titan machines is a strong plus
