Process capabilities include laser welding, CNC machining, production welding, metal spinning, powder coat painting, finishing and assembly services. We ship metal components, weldments, and full assemblies globally. JGW Machine Limited has a tradition of quality metal fabricated products at competitive prices. We specialize in short run, tight tolerance metal forming, fabrication, welding and assembly.
Job Summary:
Interpret Customer and internal drawings;
Present Customer quotations with Sales, if required;
Detail manufacturing processes and manufacturing costs for quotation and production;
Issue and complete ECN's as required;
Complete all engineering ERP requirements: BOM, EBQ, Manufactured, Purchased & Supplied component set up, drawing reference, Coded/Discounted pricing set up, technical notes, standard costing, product class, WIP ledger code, warehouse, revision, buyer, supplier, etc.;
Create internal drawings and DXF's;
Provide a liaison between the customer and internal personnel for special projects;
Provide manufacturing support as required;
Prepare internal department/assembly work instructions as directed by the Engineering Manager;
Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures;
Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with JGW code of business conduct and in accordance to the JGW Confidentiality Policy;
Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Skill Factor:
Ability to read blueprints and perform inspections;
Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing;
Basic knowledge of ISO Quality System;
Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time;
Intermediate computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project;
Intermediate skill level in solid works, solid edge, auto cad;
Excellent mathematical skills;
Excellent people skills, good communicator both hard and soft skill sets;
Continuous Improvement experience an asset.

Willingness to engage in shop floor problem solving and troubleshooting;
Reliable and competent;
Detail oriented;
Excellent team player.
Education:
Grade 12 minimum;
Post secondary education in a mechanical or manufacturing technology discipline.
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, which is 25 minutes from Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
