(Paid 60–90 Minute Strategy Session | Startup Engineering Focus)
Overview:
We are an India-based recruitment firm that has recently secured a US client focused on engineering hiring within a startup environment.
Before scaling our internal recruiter team, we are seeking a senior US technical recruiting leader or staffing strategist to audit, validate, and strengthen our end-to-end engineering hiring process.
This engagement will begin with a structured 60–90 minute paid advisory session, with strong potential for ongoing advisory or part-time consulting support based on alignment.
We are looking for practical, execution-level insights from someone who has personally owned full-cycle US technical placements - not theoretical recruiting advice.

Best practices for US engineering submission workflows
Most effective sourcing platforms for US-based software engineers
Advanced Boolean and search strategies
Candidate qualification checklist (visa, RTR, compensation, availability, relocation, etc.)
Outreach best practices for engaging US engineers
Rate negotiation and margin positioning strategies
Common mistakes offshore recruiting teams make in the US market
Tools, automation, ATS, and pipeline tracking recommendations
Scaling plan for a lean recruiting pod
Ideal Background:
We are specifically seeking professionals with:
5+ years of hands-on US technical recruiting experience
Proven full-cycle ownership (requirement intake to placement)
Experience hiring software engineers (backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, data, etc.)
Experience with W2, C2C, and/or 1099 engagement models
MSP/VMS and/or direct client experience
Rate negotiation and candidate qualification experience
Experience working with or guiding offshore recruiting teams (preferred)
Experience supporting startups or product companies (strong plus)
This role is not suitable for bench sales profiles or resume sourcing-only recruiters.
We are specifically looking for professionals who have owned US client communication, rate negotiation, and placement accountability.
Engagement Details:
Initial engagement: 60–90 minute paid strategy session
Potential for ongoing advisory or part-time consulting based on mutual fit
