Phase 1 is everything that needs to exist before real-time video/audio is added.
I want to get the product foundation right first — accounts, meetings, permissions, links, UI flow, and overall architecture.
I'm looking for someone practical who can help build clean fundamentals, not overengineer things, and think a bit like a product builder rather than just implementing tickets.
Phase 1 Scope
- User registration & login (email, username, password)
- Secure authentication & sessions
- Create meetings
- Join meetings via shareable link
- Waiting / pre-meeting screen
- Host & participant roles
- Meeting dashboard (upcoming / past meetings)
- Basic in-room text chat (no video/audio)
- Clean, simple web UI
Again — no WebRTC or video/audio yet.
This phase is about building the structure that conferencing will plug into later.
Tech (flexible)
- React / frontend
- backend (or suggest better if you have strong reasoning)
- Neon PostgreSQL or similar relational DB
- Real-time updates via websockets
- Clean API structure designed for future conferencing integration
What We're looking for
- Someone who builds clean, simple architecture
- Experience with SaaS or collaborative web apps
- Thinks about long-term scalability (video features will come later)

Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 40 hours per week.
