The app is already live in the App Store and built in React Native. The codebase is stable and well-structured. We are now expanding features and increasing development velocity.
We are seeking a strong React Native developer who can initially work alongside our senior architect and eventually take ownership of major feature development.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a technical leadership role as the product scales.
Responsibilities:
• Build new features inside an existing React Native codebase
• Implement real-time feed and group functionality
• Integrate backend APIs (Firebase/Supabase or similar)
• Improve performance and scalability
• Maintain clean architecture and reusable components
• Participate in weekly sprint planning
• Contribute to technical decision-making
Requirements:
• 3+ years React Native experience
• At least 1 production app live in the App Store
• Strong understanding of component architecture and state management
• Experience with push notifications
• Experience with authentication systems
• Comfortable working in and refactoring an existing codebase
• Strong Git workflow discipline
• Strong English communication
Strong Bonus:
• Experience building social feed or messaging apps
• Experience with real-time data synchronization
• Experience with subscription models
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)
• Experience scaling early-stage startups
