I need a developer to build a simple SaaS web application that generates shipping manifest documents for multiple clients. Either that or a standalone downloadable and installable desktop program to be rolled out to clients for own use.
The system will:
Connect to a client's portal account.
Download a pdf document (used only to obtain the barcode).
Extract the barcode from that document.
Generate a new manifest PDF that:
Keeps the original barcode.
Displays updated information that the user inputs.
Allow multiple clients to use the platform independently.
This is a multi-tenant web application OR standalone program to be given to installed on client's desktop and used for own benefit.
Core Functionality
Client Dashboard
Users should be able to:
• Log in securely
• Enter daily data
• Generate a document
• Download / print the PDF
• View document history
Document Generation Logic
The system must:
Retrieve the source manifest from a portal.
Extract the barcode only.
Generate a new clean PDF layout containing:
The extracted barcode
Table of services and quantities
Totals
Date / client information
Important:
Do not edit the original PDF directly.
Generate a new document using a layout engine.
Multi-Client Support
Each client must have isolated data:
Client account should store:
• Credentials
• Generated documents
• Daily information records
System must support many clients simultaneously.
