About the Role
You will support the management of data and any associated systems for use across the organization, transform data into business insights, and generate various types of reports for informed decision making by internal users (including Management) and external users (including automobile insurance industry Member companies and Regulatory bodies).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc dashboards and reports for internal and external use.
Transform data from vetted sources and generates data visualizations to illustrate trends to empower management with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Apply industry knowledge and strategic thinking, generates business insights for management and internal teams to address key business challenges.
Support the ongoing operation of information classification system and related applications, including data needs of other departments.
Support the data quality assurance analyses and reports on such; recommend fixes.
Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of monthly operational reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing operation of the Underwriting Information Plan (UIP), including communication with FA Member Companies, Committee Members and Service Providers.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for various committees as needed.
Develop, manage, and maintain process flow documentation.
Education and Experience
University degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science or related quantitative field.
Minimum one (1) year data analysis experience within the Financial Services industry. Property & Casualty Insurance Industry with large scale automobile insurance data analysis/data management experience is an asset.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in database management applications (SQL, SAS or R) and Tableau or related business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to adapt to changing technologies/techniques.
Ability to synthesize data into meaningful reports and identify trends; outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

Pay Range For This Role
$ $75.000 per year.
