infrastructure projects. This is on an as needed basis. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of
experience in civil engineering design, ideally with a focus on municipal projects (water mains,
wastewater mains, etc.) and a strong understanding of municipal infrastructure systems, including
water, sewer, stormwater management, roads, and knowledge of local, state, and federal
engineering regulations and standards. You will need to be capable of independently producing
complete designs and drawings with little guidance; however, your work will be checked and
approved by a licensed professional engineer. You do not need a PE license. This post is for a 1-hour
interview of potential candidates. Please provide 4 complete samples of your past projects together
with your resume when you respond. You will not be considered if these are not included in your

Responsibilities
1) Importing survey point data provided by the surveyor and creating the existing conditions
drawings from it.
2) Performing design work and preparing detailed engineering drawings to include the 30%,
60%, 90%, and construction-ready drawings.
3) Preparing the specifications for municipal infrastructure projects using one of the available
commercial specifications programs.
4) Reviewing and revising designs based on input and comments from the professional
engineer and public officials.
5) Supporting permitting processes by preparing technical documentation and responding to
regulatory inquiries if required.
6) Conducting quality assurance checks to verify accuracy and compliance of design
documents.
Qualifications
1) You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience designing municipal infrastructure
including water mains and sanitary sewer mains. Commercial site development design is
also desired but not required.
2) Your experience must include both design for the replacement of existing mains and
infrastructure and design of new ones.
3) You must be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft suite, and be capable of
independently completing the design drawings and producing 30%, 60%, 90%, and
construction ready drawings.
4) Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure systems and municipal engineering
processes is a plus but not required.
5) Only US based designers will be considered for this role. Please do not reply if you are not
US based.
Contract duration of more than 6 months.
