DEG Services is seeking a motivated Digital Content Specialist to support content creation, campaign execution, and brand development across the CDG Group of Companies. This role is ideal for someone with strong copywriting and video skills who is ready to grow their career in a hands-on, multi-brand setting.

What You'll Do:
As a Digital Content Specialist, you will play a key role in creating compelling content, supporting digital campaigns, and maintaining brand standards across multiple companies. Your work will focus primarily on copywriting and video, with design as a supporting skill.
You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure our marketing efforts are targeted, engaging, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Write and edit clear, engaging copy for social media, websites, campaigns, and internal communications.
- Adapt messaging to suit different target audiences and brands.
- Support campaign storytelling and brand voice development.
Videography & Video Editing
- Plan, capture, and edit high-quality video content for marketing and internal initiatives.
- Produce short-form and long-form video for digital platforms.
- Manage basic video equipment and coordinate shoots when required.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.
- Support website content updates using ProcessWire CMS (or similar platforms).
- Help maintain consistent branding across all digital touchpoints.
Design
- Create basic marketing assets, social graphics, and templates as needed.
- Ensure design work aligns with established brand guidelines.
Social Media & Engagement
- Support content scheduling, publishing, and engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Monitor trends and audience behaviour to improve performance and pivot with trends.
Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and external vendors on marketing initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in digital media/marketing, content creation (Videography/Cinematography), or a related field.
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Media/Videography, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Proven videography and video editing skills.
- Design experience as a secondary or supporting skill is necessary.
- Solid understanding of target markets and audience segmentation.
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
Technical Skills:
- Video & Design Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; CapCut, or similar short-form content and design platforms.
- Content Platforms: Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., ProcessWire) is an asset.
- Social Platforms: Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
Design & Production Environment
- Our team works primarily within Adobe Creative Cloud and professional production tools.
- While familiarity with various platforms is appreciated, this role requires comfort working in industry-standard software and structured brand systems.
- Candidates should be confident creating and editing assets within established brand guidelines and professional workflows.

- For this position the annual salary range is: Minimum $67,000 to Maximum $70,000
