Hours: 20-30hrs

Salary Range: 40-45 CAD/hr

About the Role

This role is responsible for designing, running, and continuously improving MistyWest's people processes, with particular ownership of:

  • Performance Management Review Cycles
  • OKRs and KPIs management and implementation
  • Market benchmarking and compensation (Job Evaluation)
  • Recruiting and hiring operations
  • People and culture management 

You'll work closely with leadership to ensure decisions are evidence-based, fair, scalable, and aligned with business needs, while also handling core HR operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end execution of Performance review cycles (planning, calibration, documentation, close-out)
  • Own compensation benchmarking, including market research, role matching, and maintaining salary bands
  • Partner with Finance and Leadership on compensation adjustments, re-benchmarks, and cycle timing
  • Full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-technical role

Requirements

Requirements
  • 5+ years in HR, People Ops, or Talent Ops
  • CPHR is an asset
  • Direct experience running performance or level-change cycles
  • Experience with recruiting and compensation benchmarking
  • Highly organized, sound judgment, comfortable working with leadership
  • Ability to positively influence culture through structure and clarity
Nice to have
  • Previous experience working at a consultancy firm
  • Close partnership with leadership in a technical, fast-moving environment
  • Experience planning internal events such as holiday parties, retreat, team celebrations, workshops, Lunch & Learns.
