The SmartStart Education team is seeking an ELA tutor to support the development of middle school students in Brooklyn, NY.
This role involves working with small groups of 1-4 students, Monday through Friday. Each group will consist of students who have been identified as struggling with fundamental ELA skills and are from grade levels 6th through 8th.
A successful candidate should possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, experience in teaching or tutoring (preferably for one year or more), and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by urban communities.
