*SUMMARY*
To successfully assist the Pharmacy Manager in Pharmacy operations, which includes but is not limited to maximizing gross, margins, ensuring sales production, controlling inventory and expenses..
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Responsible for company assets including receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control, and inventory.
* Supervises the accurate, efficient filling and dispensing of all written and oral prescriptions.
* Provides patient consultation/education on all prescriptions.
* Meets minimum standards for patient care.
* Ensures outstanding customer service.
* Knows and ensures adherence to all third party contracts.
* Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures as well as all federal and state drug laws.
* Actively participates in all store and company wide meetings.
* Develops and maintains a professional and cooperative working relationship with local health care providers and store associates.
* Supports, implements, and is compliant with all corporate programs.
* Stays abreast of changes within the profession of pharmacy. Take an active role in the future of the profession.
* Completes special projects as assigned.
* Assists the Pharmacy Manager in supervising the training of technicians.
*DEGREE IN PHARMACY REQUIRED*
*Compensation* - BOE. FT, Salaried position with benefits that include annual wage reviews, medical, dental, prescription and life insurance, paid holidays, vacations. *We are an Associate owned company with a retirement plan that includes an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Profit Sharing and 401K*
Pay: $65.00 per hour
