As the first point of contact for members, partners, and internal teams, this role ensures seamless communication, smooth administrative workflow, and excellent service delivery to the community.

What You'll Do- Coordinate and support the flow of information in and out of the Ts'ixwts'ixwnítway Member Services department, ensuring proper documentation, follow‑up, and timely communication.
- Respond to inquiries according to policy, distributing incoming mail and emails, and preparing documentation for non‑standard correspondence.
- Maintain department's resource binders, staff and supplier files, and other administrative systems to support smooth operations.
- Assist the Team Leader and department staff with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, including file management and clerical duties.
- Maintain the department's scheduling needs, including booking appointments, meetings, and facility spaces for employees, renters, customers, and membership.
- Serve as the primary reception point, greeting visitors and receiving calls with courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
- Track and follow up on action items, ensuring alignment with established office procedures, systems, and policies.
- Report unresolved complaints or operational challenges to Management as outlined in established processes.
- Provide operational support to team initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across Member Services to meet department goals.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements and contribute to a safe, respectful, and community‑centered work environment.
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Commitment to ongoing training and short‑term upgrading relevant to administrative and clerical support, software applications, customer service, and data processing.
- 6–12 months of administrative or clerical experience, including file management, customer service, data entry/processing, reconciliation of numbers, and spreadsheet tracking.
- Experience using MS Office and the internet at a beginner to intermediate level.
- Experience working in a First Nations environment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with adaptability, tact, and professionalism.
- Organized, resourceful, and effective at managing time and multiple priorities.
- High emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to maintain composure in high‑pressure situations.
- Ability to deliver challenging information diplomatically when necessary.
- Successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector search (as per Squamish Nation policy).
- Three (3) professional references, including at least one direct supervisor.
- Fluency in English.

Wage Rate: $ $29.57 hourly
Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
