Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals—the fastest‑growing rental company in North America—is hiring a District Manager to lead multi‑site operations, build high‑performing teams, and champion our customer‑first culture.

What You'll Do Strategic Leadership
  • Execute company strategy at the district level and ensure consistent sales performance.
  • Develop future leaders across Profit Centers; build strong succession pipelines.
  • Forecast, budget, and analyze district metrics to drive sustainable growth.
Operational Excellence
  • Review P&L for all Profit Centers and adjust strategy to improve performance.
  • Optimize fleet mix, pricing, service programs, and utilization.
  • Create clear tactical action plans for Profit Center Managers.
Business Acumen
  • Evaluate store performance and take corrective action to achieve targets.
  • Identify industry trends and new market opportunities.
  • Manage district cost structures to maximize profitability.
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Lead district‑wide sales initiatives and ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with customers to understand market conditions and strengthen market share.
  • Oversee sales programs that drive revenue and brand visibility.
People Development
  • Build a culture of coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop sales, service, and communication skills across all teams.
  • Mentor Profit Center Managers, Sales Representatives, and trainees in JumpStart/QuickStart programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi‑site teams
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance‑management skills
  • Ability to motivate teams and deliver results aligned with Sunbelt values
  • Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments; ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to travel up to 75% across the district

Base Pay Range

153, ,577.40

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust bonus plan.
