We are hiring an Order Picker for our Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center! If you are a motivated individual with a knack for accuracy and efficiency, this is the role for you. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is critical in ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . Join our dedicated Logistics team and play a key part in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify product information, quantity, and quality against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage orders in designated areas for shipping consolidation.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a primary focus on Safety .
- Proper use of mandatory PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves, is required.
- This role involves constant movement and may require Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall speed and accuracy of our order fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures.
