Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock issues, and implementing strategies to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to optimize inventory storage and management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory control principles within a logistics environment.   • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize stock rotation and storage.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
This role requires good organizational skills and the ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting up to 30 lbs. Experience with WMS software and advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.
