Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding high standards of warehouse management. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues. This position also involves collaborating with other departments, such as receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure seamless inventory movement and data integrity. Experience with inventory management software is a plus. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to continuous improvement in our inventory processes. You will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Assist with the physical movement of inventory as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Proficiency in WMS software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
