We are seeking dynamic Picker/Packers for our rapidly growing distribution center in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately selecting items and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. You will be an integral part of our fulfillment team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping boxes or containers.
- Verify order accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Utilize RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to inventory or shipments.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be mobile for the duration of the shift.
- Physical capability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and basic warehouse technology.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics procedures is beneficial.
