In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then preparing those items for shipment. Your precision and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will work within a team environment, contributing to the smooth flow of goods from our facility to their destinations. We prioritize a safe working environment, ensuring all team members are trained on proper procedures and provided with necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Prepare packages for shipment, staging them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as restocking or inventory checks.
- Lift and move boxes and items as required for order fulfillment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is critical for accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of packages.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and logistics practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
