We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and stage materials according to warehouse layout and safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks of forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors and management regarding specific tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and maneuvering of materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Good communication skills.
