We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Material Handler in our Atlanta, Georgia warehouse. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the manual movement and organization of materials. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a keen eye for detail, and be committed to upholding safety standards. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and packing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We provide a supportive team atmosphere and opportunities for professional development. Emphasis will be placed on safe lifting practices and the correct utilization of required PPE. This role is key to ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all lifting guidelines to prevent injuries.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
