Are you a skilled operator with experience on powered industrial trucks? Our Miami, Florida location seeks a proficient Reach Truck Operator to join our logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in the warehouse. Your expertise in operating a reach truck will ensure that inventory is stored correctly and accessible for order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from racks and trailers.
- Retrieve and store inventory accurately, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and traffic laws within the warehouse.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and task management.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including some manual Lifting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck, with certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
