You will be responsible for coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping labels, and verifying that orders are correctly assembled before dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Verify outbound orders against shipping documents.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain records of all shipments.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and use required PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including moderate lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and shipping procedures.
