Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland, and play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process. This position is responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and securely packing them for shipment to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely and correct order processing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order sheets, pick lists, or RF scanners.
- Pack items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring product protection and efficient use of materials.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing quotas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts.
- Perform tasks involving moderate physical activity, including frequent lifting and bending.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE .
- Familiarity with safe lifting techniques.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
