Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual seeking an exciting opportunity? Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for a skilled Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This role involves accurately identifying, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. You will work closely with inventory management systems and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Success in this role requires physical dexterity, speed, and a strong commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists generated by the inventory management system.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Operate picking equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Package selected items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for quality control and final shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to team efforts and meet established productivity goals within the logistics framework.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent physical activity, including moderate Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within our logistics operations.
