Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all materials are handled correctly and efficiently to support our overall logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload and load materials onto and off of trucks and other transport vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for damage and ensure accuracy against shipping documents.
  • Move materials from receiving to designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
  • Prepare materials for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging them according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and utilizing PPE.
