Join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in San Francisco, California as a Distribution Center Associate! This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and storage areas using appropriate equipment and methods.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Operate various warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification and training provided).
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entire distribution center.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, such as safety vests, steel-toe shoes, and gloves.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is highly valued.
