Our dynamic logistics company in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize our warehouse functions. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, from receiving to dispatch. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the overall organization and efficiency of the warehouse. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in inventory management software, and a thorough understanding of logistics principles. You will be responsible for upholding safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols. While primarily administrative, this role may involve assisting with tasks that require manual labor and lifting up to 40 pounds during busy periods. We seek a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with team members and external partners, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory control and management, ensuring accuracy of stock levels.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and internal teams.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to optimize workflow.
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory, shipping, and receiving.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Manage warehouse supplies and equipment.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and shipping issues.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes.
- Support team members with manual tasks, including occasional lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (IMS) and warehouse software.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Capability for occasional lifting and physical tasks.
