We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to orders.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Stock inventory in appropriate locations using inventory management systems.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow established procedures for all warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
