We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all Safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, coordinating workflows, optimizing inventory control, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will foster a positive work environment that encourages productivity and continuous improvement. A strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and best practices is essential. This role may involve occasional Lifting and physical tasks, but your primary focus will be on management and oversight. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of warehouse staff, including training and performance management.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods.
- Implement and enforce all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless Logistics .
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all team members and conduct regular Safety audits.
- Assist with or oversee tasks requiring moderate Lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics .
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and stand for extended periods when required.
- Familiarity with various types of PPE and their appropriate use.
