We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our fast-paced distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to safety in all aspects of your work. You will play a key part in ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy active work and are looking for a stable role in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or RF scanners to locate and retrieve products.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damaged products or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity in our logistics operations.
- Participate in team efforts and assist colleagues when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this role.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and follow instructions precisely.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles within logistics.
