We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the distribution industry. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for various tasks within the distribution center, ensuring efficient operations and timely order fulfillment. Your primary duties will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. You will also be involved in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, assisting with inventory counts, and operating equipment as needed. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and following all Safety protocols.
