- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other materials from trucks and onto racks.
- Verify and record the quantity and type of merchandise being moved.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in good working order and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA certification).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
