Join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois, as an Inventory Clerk! We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital to our warehouse operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise, facilitating efficient logistics and preventing stock-outs or overstock situations. You will be responsible for counting stock, verifying shipments, organizing inventory storage, and reconciling discrepancies. Attention to detail is paramount. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management software and possess strong analytical skills. We are committed to a safe working environment, and you will be required to adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE . While much of your work will involve data and organization, there may be occasions requiring physical tasks, including Lifting of inventory items up to 30 lbs. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and records.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against records.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock locations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Operate inventory management software and systems.
- Report inventory status and potential issues to management.
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures.
- Utilize PPE as required for specific tasks.
- Assist with occasional Lifting of inventory.
- Support the efficient flow of logistics operations through accurate inventory control.
