We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our San Diego, California logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A valid forklift certification and a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures are essential. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE at all times.
- Support logistics and inventory control efforts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Commitment to wearing and using required PPE.
