We are hiring a Material Handler for our Baltimore, Maryland location. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and distributing inventory. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe and efficient use at all times. A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to all company policies is required. This role demands physical capability, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will be provided with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are expected to wear it consistently. Join a dynamic logistics team where your contributions are valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Move materials within the warehouse to designated storage locations.
- Prepare materials for shipping and receiving.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with record keeping.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment. Understanding of logistics principles is a plus. Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
