We are seeking a diligent and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and ensuring that materials are readily available for production and shipping departments. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to **safety**, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced **logistics** environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all **safety** protocols.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any defects immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensure proper use of **PPE** at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or **logistics** environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including **Lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Awareness of **safety** regulations and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting, which may include varying temperatures.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**.
