We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of goods within our facility, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for shipment or storage. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for handling a variety of materials, which may involve significant Lifting . Experience with inventory management systems is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess excellent teamwork skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced Logistics environment. Your contribution is vital to our overall operational success and customer satisfaction. You will be expected to wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots, as dictated by the tasks at hand. Regular checks of equipment will be necessary to ensure proper function and Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and tidying.
- Inspect equipment for damage or malfunction and report any issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
