Exciting opportunity for a skilled Forklift Operator in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload materials, transport inventory within the warehouse, and assist with order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and all candidates must demonstrate a commitment to adhering to strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the physical capacity for lifting heavy objects. Experience with various types of forklifts and proficiency in warehouse management systems are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Identify and report damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
