Join our bustling warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an Order Picker! We are searching for diligent individuals who can accurately and efficiently select items to fulfill customer orders. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. A key aspect of this position is maintaining a safe working environment; all employees must adhere to our stringent Safety standards and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting, so candidates should be in good physical condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against the order to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as trained.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking as needed.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE at all times.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions and labels.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse flow.
