A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all associates are required to use appropriate PPE and adhere to stringent safety standards at all times. This role demands physical stamina, including regular lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage products for outgoing shipments and assist with loading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed (certification preferred).
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical effort, including frequent lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and adherence to safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- A keen interest in developing a career in logistics and operations.
