We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our facility in Provo, Utah. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous record-keeping, regular audits, and process improvements. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize losses and maximize efficiency within our logistics operations. - Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal availability and minimize stock-outs.
- Assist in the management of returns and damaged goods.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of inventory control best practices and supply chain principles.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
