Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery with skill and precision.
- Store materials in designated locations, maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specific requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area, strictly adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational efficiency.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure personal safety.
- This role involves frequent lifting and moving of various items.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous. Must possess the physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting and material handling. Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Ability to operate standard material handling equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable and punctual. This role demands a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
