We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics operations in Houston, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future errors. You will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, manage stock locations, and ensure the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory control principles. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to resolve inventory issues and improve overall stock accuracy. Safety is a top priority; you will be expected to adhere to all warehouse safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques when handling inventory. This role is essential for optimizing our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient with WMS software, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in inventory management or a similar logistics role is required.
