We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our operations in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials within our warehouse. Your efforts are crucial to maintaining an efficient flow of goods and supporting our overall logistics chain. This position demands a strong focus on Safety, efficiency, and physical capability.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure the accuracy of material tracking.
- Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse machinery as needed.
- Support the shipping and receiving departments as required to facilitate logistics operations.
- Perform other material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including regular Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work various shifts and overtime when necessary.
- A proactive approach to Safety and willingness to follow all regulations.
