Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal inventory.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes, verifying quantities and item accuracy.
  • Coordinate with operations and shipping departments to facilitate efficient inventory flow.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement for management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS and RF scanning technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
