This position plays a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct daily checks on equipment and report any defects promptly.
- Participate in inventory management tasks and assist with cycle counts.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Adhere to proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certified forklift operator with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and accident prevention.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable and able to work flexible hours if needed.
