Our expanding logistics operation in Washington, D.C. is seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our stock levels, conducting regular audits, and identifying any discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our database system.
  • Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, variances, and adjustments.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy and processes.
  • Support the broader logistics team by providing reliable inventory data.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required for stock checks.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
  • Commitment to safety procedures and proper handling of materials.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring light to moderate lifting .
